Learn More About Our Services: Real Estate FAQs in Cambridge

How does a typical real estate transaction work?

A Homebuyer does not pay a commission directly to their buying agent when purchasing a home. The listing agent is paid a commission percentage from the purchase amount received through the transaction. The listing agent divides the commission amount they receive with the buying agent after completion of sale.

How does a real estate transaction work with 50/50 Split?

Same as any other, except we focus on the homebuyer side of the equation and do not affect sellers in any way. The listing agent divides the commission amount they receive with the buying agent after completion of sale. This is the portion from which 50/50 rewards percentages back to the Homebuyer. The reward is directly related the number of homes shown to them by their 50/50 Split assigned realtor. See How It Works.
